Attendance numbers

Actually it was tied for the biggest 26,000 crowd ever...with every other 26,000 crowd ever.

But it had the nearly naked chick in the section 317 thread, and I'd imagine she must count as at least 2 and thereby break all tiebreakers with all the other 26,000 crowds ever.

May as well keep track of it as we regain our crown this year:

Colgate: 24,788 (82-60 win)
Fordham: 22,667 (89-74 win)
Cornell: 25,519 (69-50 win)
St Francis: 23,117 (56-50 win)
Indiana: 26,414 (69-52 win)
Binghamton: 25,844 (93-65 win)

Total: 4 games = 96,091 = 24,022.75 avg
Total: 5 games = 122,505 = 24,501 avg
Total: 6 games = 148,349 = 24,724.83 avg

Shall we tack this admins?

The EMU game should challenge High Point for lowest crowd number of the year.

FYI if we add in a conservative 35,000 for Duke that currently would take the average to 25,435 (I'll continue to update that up until the game)

The question is, does average attendance keep rising (as it does nearly every season) or do we peak after North Carolina State and then decline with our final two weeknight games?

1st time ever with 3 straight 30k games?

1st time ever with 3 straight 30k games?

No, but first time since 1991 or 1992, I think. I looked it up some time back. Nice streak.

EDIT: This attendance dork took notes on that earlier this season. 1990 was the last streak of more than three 30s:

1990 Pittsburgh 30,023 (Tuesday 8:00 p.m.)
1990 Providence 32,401 (Saturday 8:00 p.m.)
1990 St. John’s 30,407 (Wednesday 7:00 p.m.)
1990 Villanova 32,529 (Saturday 8:00 p.m.)

Audible groans in the building last night when that figure was announced.

Apparently in addition to "distributing" 100% of the seats in the Tops Family Section, the box office also managed to "distribute" 4,000 student tickets.
