It will be interesting to watch if attendance at women’s game increases. If it doesn’t improve substantially, don’t be surprised if they go on the road to play games.
Not according to the coaches.I think attendance is fine for what it is. The problem is the venue. They should play in the War Memorial.
How does their attendance compare to peer schools? It will be interesting to watch if attendance at women’s game increases. If it doesn’t improve substantially, don’t be surprised if they go on the road to play games.

This validates my point. They belong in a smaller facility.Quick Look: high to low average attendance 2023-2024 ACC Women

Huh? What difference would that make though? Paying rent for the War Memorial that would just add costs but also would only reduce attendance. The size of the venue doesn’t equate to winning. I would like to see attendance definitely improve. One of the first things I’d do is to improve SU‘s own student attendance at the women’s games and then continue to target elementary and high schools including school teams. This validates my point. I’m not saying the war memorial is the answer, but if the team is complaining about attendance they’re not being realistic. There has never been a large following for women’s hoops locally. The only way you move the needle on this is by recruiting the next Marcia Clark.Huh? What difference would that make though? I'll pass on Marcia. She couldn't win the big one.I’m not saying the war memorial is the answer, but if the team is complaining about attendance they’re not being realistic.
