I went to 5 games last year. I’d been to 3 in my life before that. It was absolutely the most entertained I was for any other event last year, Live or otherwise.

Huh? What difference would that make though? Paying rent for the War Memorial that would just add costs but also would only reduce attendance. The size of the venue doesn’t equate to winning. I would like to see attendance definitely improve. One of the first things I’d do is to improve SU‘s own student attendance at the women’s games and then continue to target elementary and high schools including school teams.

I’m not saying the war memorial is the answer, but if the team is complaining about attendance they’re not being realistic. There has never been a large following for women’s hoops locally. The only way you move the needle on this is by recruiting the next Marcia Clark.
