All recent graduates of Syracuse University have a special invitation from their alma mater – enjoy all of the Orange action in the Carrier Dome at a discounted price in a designated section.

Football season tickets for the Syracuse classes of 2012 through 2016 are just $100 and will be located in section 108, which is adjacent to the student section. Season tickets for basketball, which includes both men's and women's seasons, are $400.

The price for each includes an Orange Club preferred donation to give this group an opportunity to start building Priority Points, which provides eligibility for tickets for post-season games and tournaments. The seat locations are guaranteed at the same price for a graduate's first five years out of school provided they are renewed each year.

Tickets in the Recent Grads section are available by phone (888-DOMETIX) or online(promo code: RecentGrad). The deadline to order for the 2016-17 seasons is Sept. 1 for football and November 1 for basketball.

This is a great idea. Not good, but great.

I've wondered for years why SU didn't run with this simple idea, which is offered at a number of other schools. Glad they've finally instituted it.

Probably becuase 95% of SU Grads leave the hill to never return to the area.

Agree this is a good step.

Someone should research the Clemson IPTAY program and copy that too. Fund raising and marketing have been horrific for far too long.
