The team just looked fantastic on both ends of the court today.
For me it was double firsts:
1. First game I saw this season that was a Cuse W.
2. Magnitude of the blowout was such, that I was actually bored my mid-way in the 2nd half. That never happens in a W.
Of course, all was over shadowed by the Lydon injury. Doesn't sound too bad, but the proof will be in the pudding to see if he misses any games.
The combination of composure, hustle, and execution was super-impressive. Just got to play that well against big boy opposition.
No point in commenting on individual performances because there are only accolades to go around.
Staff did a great job on getting the squad to maintain focus all the way through a blowout.
I am really impressed with Taureen Thompson in particular. I was dead wrong about that kid, thought he would need a developmental year, but he is the real deal right now. He should be spectacular next season unless the unthinkable happens & he is a one & done. Gotta slow his development curve down by a tad.
Lydon was off to races, would have had monster numbers wo the injury. Hope the injury doesn't slow him down just when he was turning the corner on his season.
Today the world is right in Cuseland & I am a happy camper.
