B.C. Opens -2.5 Over Syracuse

You handicapped it at BC -10.5 last week. Vegas disagrees vehemently. We’ll see.
I might just take BC at -10.5. Or more.

I ask
Sincerely…are people going to watch this game? Even Fran himself said the season is over. I’ll rake leaves

Since you asked sincerely I’ll answer. I wouldn’t miss this game or any other if you offered me $10k. There are only 6 a year and we’ll all be dead soon. I accept there will only be about 25,000 of us there but we will have a blast because it’s an ACC game in the 315. I’m excited even as I type this and we’re still a day away.

Planned on driving back to Syracuse from the North Country today. Lake effect has pushed our departure to tomorrow (Saturday). I hate to say it, I really do, but I don't think I'll have the energy to go up to the hill after getting home from the holiday, having to dig out the driveway, unpacking, etc.. And this is from a guy who was at Atlanta and Notre Dame.

Maybe you'll get lucky and the lake effect bands will miss you.

I'd love that, and thanks for the well wishes, but there's no way. We drive down through Watertown, Pulaski, Central Square, and then land in Baldwinsville. 8 to 12 inches expected and waiting for me when I get home.

You’re from the north country and you’re going to let a little snow keep you from the game? Weak. 😁

Don’t sweat it. I can see the dome from my house and I’m not sure I’ll have the energy. I guess it depends on how sick of Turkey I am whether I want the nachos bad enough.

As I was saying, we’re going to get killed and this line was essentially giving money away.

Thanks, FanDuel!!
I took BC using an alternate spread (-13.5). I don’t understand much about gambling, and I don’t bet a lot of money compared to most people (I assume) but I can’t explain why the spread was so low. Putting money on BC to cover was like taking some kind of sweet confection from a very small child.

Winning the money is nice. But lapping up the sweet tears of the guy who assured us SU would win is much better. ;)
