Dino thought he was heading West after 2018, it never materialized and he was never the same.
And we literally and figuratively paid for that true storyDino thought he was heading West after 2018, it never materialized and he was never the same.
Was Dungey part of the 6-0 and 4-0 starts his last two years?Any shred of Dino success = DUNGEY
That's what I've come to believe, too.Dino thought he was heading West after 2018, it never materialized and he was never the same.
You take Eric Dungey out of the equation and Dino probably has a losing season in 2018. The most consequential player of his entire tenure wasn’t even recruited by him or his staff. Flash forward to Fran and the most consequential player was recruited by him personally in year one (McCord).I hear almost every alumni contributor say how glad they are to be welcomed back into the fold of the program after being given the cold shoulder for so long.
I feel like Dino never embraced recruiting locally, and after 2019, recruiting fell off and never recovered. We had California targets and Hawaiian recruits. Many of those recruits that everyone is saying were contributors last season were area recruits. Also, he seemed to ignore the trenches.
