Babers to Arizona OC/QB Coach

This could well be. Fat bald guys are probably undervalued by judgmental ADs and selection committees.

He has had a few stints as a HC and it looks to me as though he has done well at all of them, though the last couple of years at Ball State were kind of alarming.

I wish him well at UB.

I bet ya 3 beers that Ball State extended his contract after the 2013 season and he got a fat bonus. Learned about strippers. Hard to focus on football when you're thinking about strippers. Doubt there's any good looking strippers in Buffalo, he might be fine

Troop is playing chess while the rest of us are struggling with checkers...

Baber's won't have the luxury of sitting back and letting others do the leg work recruiting .... if he doesn't get that recruiting fire back he might not be there too long ......

Don't be surprised if they have a good year, and he parlays that into another job as the head guy somewhere out west
I mean they should be top 15, top 20 at worst. They got both their star QB and WR to return when many thought they’d transfer. He’s going to have more to work with than probably anything he ever had here. He certainly isn't walking into a job withouy sky high expectations.

Plus a much easier schedule with no Oregon, Washington or USC.
