I was at Atlantis with my family. We headed down for Easter dinner when we were down about a dozen points. I could juuuust make out the TV at the bar from my table. When it got to about five points down, I just got up from Easter dinner and without saying a word to my family walked over to the bar and watched the rest of the game.

yep. cooney was an inch in bounds. twisted his foot just right. horrible call that could have really cost us.

Oh man I was at the game and I couldn’t 100% see it. My wife was watching at home(I took my daughter to the game) and she sent me a still photo of the replay and wrote “his foot was WAY inbounds!!” I started showing it to other SU fans near us and we were all flipping out. It was a fantastic game at the end of the day

In today’s world, Richardson would have returned to school. Lydon would probably have stayed too. Tyus Battle said last week he would never have left college.

Yep, for as much as people complain about NIL and the portal, being able to pay guys means having the chance to keep them around longer than in the past. I suspect Lydon would have left anyway, he was over JB reportedly. But Malachai might have stayed. Would have made a big difference.

I loved all their games leading up to final 4 were in the Midwest. 4hr drive to St. Louis to watch them beat Dayton and Middle Tenn St. then 3.5 hr drive to Chicago to watch Gonzaga and Virginia. Great experience and a lot of fun……..man I miss those days
