Bama a 2 TD favorite at LSU

As a married-in Tiger, I follow them very closely. They’ve very much been my football salvation for the last 15ish years.

I’m probably too critical but this year’s team lacks depth, a running game and playmaking WRs. The add the White suspension. I don’t see bama having a tough time.. I hope I’m very very wrong.

Which has always blown my mind how bama never has NFL QBs. They are terrible in the league. This guy is different.

#22 Total defense
#7 Scoring defense

Bama:

#16 Total defense
#10 Scoring defense

Bama has played nobody at this point

Of course, Bama's schedule is very weak so far. That's obvious. I merely said that Bama's D is improving. A few weeks back Saban said he wanted to see improvement with his defense, and they responded. It's very difficult to assess Bama's defense because Bama's offense is #2 in the country and would probably be #1 in the country if they didn't blow everyone out in the first half. We have seen a lot of garbage time in most if not all of Bama's games so far. That means Bama's #2s and #3 see quality minutes each game on both sides of the ball but I think it shows up a bit more on their defensive stats. Plus, Bama often scores quickly, so the Bama D is on the field quite a bit and that can skew the numbers a bit as well.

When I look at LSU this season they have faced one high calibre offense, Ole Miss. They played Miami, but Miami's offense is at #85 in total yards currently. I think the other decent offense LSU has faced is Georgia at #29 nationally in total yards per game. Miss State is currently #71, Florida # 79 and Auburn #83. So, I think LSU's numbers on D which I posted about earlier are pretty accurate. I wouldn't the let the names on the schedule sway me too much.

Bama is just too good. I thought we’d get a touchdown or two for LSU but yeah that offense is bad.
