I love watching Cris Carter. He's the most emotional man I've ever seen in my life.Just because everyone has been hit, doesn't mean it's okay.
Cris Carter had a great message today on ESPN.

ETA: He's sadly correct. If you want to shame these guys, take them away from the game. It's unfortunately what they care for the most, so penalize them where it hurts the most.
Because FOX has the bigger markets. The NFC pregame show will always be bigger. You got Chicago, Washington DC, Dallas, SF, the "A" team in NY, Philly...etc. The NFC Package pregame show always will be bigger and that will never change. The AFC side can't come close to comparing. You got Cincy, Buffalo, Jax, Cleveland, Miami, ...aside from Boston and Denver not really much on the AFC side at all in the term of market size.I agree with everything you are saying. However it could be the greatest show in the world and still have a difficult time taking viewers away from Fox.
The south is stupid.

Shannon Sharpe made that show. I can't stand the Fox guys either. Guess it's the 4 letter network for me for pre-game.Barkley and Jim Rome made that pregame show WATCHABLE today. That show is awful. Tony Gonzalez looks like a deer in the headlights on live TV. Bart Scott is a moron. The show puts people to sleep. They reason Barkley was there is not to talk about AP or Rice, this was a tryout. CBS needs a shot of energy on that show and they tried new things today. Rome and Barkley might be weekly fixtures and get full time roles on that show. And that show needs it
1st, What s a switch???
A light switch?.
2nd, dog fighting is suthurn...how'd that work out for Vick??
I'm of a similar mind, but would word it slightly differently. Not necessarily lazy, but short sighted and acting out of convenience. My wife and I have a role about discipline. Before we discipline we have to think out what the best lesson is that we can teach, and how to teach it. If the biggest upside to how we feel like disciplining in the moment is that it makes us feel better the quickest, we think that probably isn't in the best interests of our kids. Not that either of us have a horrible temper, but it's helped us to keep sane. This is entirely my opinion, but I always associate kids getting whipped with their parents being lazy. I think it takes way more effort for a parent to establish a punishment, and truly enforce it to the end. And a byproduct of that is you are demonstrating to your kids that violence isn't a solution to problems.
please explain. You probably could've used one. Just sayin...
If it needs explaining, never mind. Just a Monday morning jab messing around, that's all.please explain.
thank you.
random, personal insults telling a poster you wish he was beat about the scrotum with a stick till it bled, like AP did to a 4 year old..is a little more than 'just a monday morning jab messing around'.If it needs explaining, never mind. Just a Monday morning jab messing around, that's all.
Well looking back, what I tried to bold and quote didn't come through. I bolded you asking "what's a switch?". Saying you could've used one. Nothing morerandom, personal insults telling a poster you wish he was beat about the scrotum with a stick till it bled, like AP did to a 4 year old..is a little more than 'just a monday morning jab messing around'.
so yes, i needed an explanation.
The first big word I learned as a toddler was incorrigible. I got punished but never hit.
When I was about 10 or 11 I got in a fight and broke this kid's nose. His mother showed up at our front door with her son in tow. Mr mother said her son couldn't possibly have done that or I was probably defending myself. As she closed the door, I thought to myself that I had dodged that bullet at which point WHAM! She had a rolled up newspaper in her hand and she belted me on the back of my head. She never said a word but I got the message.
Wow that was powerful... well done CrisJust because everyone has been hit, doesn't mean it's okay.

I used to watch the Francesa pregame show on YES. It really was the best Sunday pregame show. But that isn't on TV anymore anywhere. So I avoid the Sunday pregame shows. The Fantasy Football ESPN show isn't awful. Defacto NFL pregame show reallyShannon Sharpe made that show. I can't stand the Fox guys either. Guess it's the 4 letter network for me for pre-game.
