Barron: No one in ACC is 'wringing their hands' over Maryland departure

That may be a true assessment. Maryland has had some good seasons but is not a consistent football power and their hoops can easily be replaced, FSU already has.

I'm still not convinced that Maryland and Rutgers gets the BTN the $$$ everyone says they need to bring to the table. But then, I'm not privy to their information. I just don't see where leaving NY, NC and VA on the table are worse choices than NJ and Maryland.

They're one step up from Wake. Show us the money.

Its called spin, you never tell the public the truth and always make losses look inconsequential. This defection is the beginning of the end of the ACC conference unless Notre Dame joins full-time which they won't. The clock on the expiration of the ACC has started.
