So Saturday is the annual game where  a couple of old friends and I rent a room in Syracuse for the weekend and go to a game.  Usually we do the Crowne Plaza but this year my friend got comped a room in Carrier Circle so that's where we will be staying.  I'm fixing to get out of work early Friday and am driving out from Rochester.  I'll probably have an hour or two to kill before their flights get in so I was thinking of getting an early start. I really don't know that side of town too well, when I lived there I was either downtown or in Liverpool and that was 20 plus years ago.  I see the Thompson Road Tavern is right there.  Bull and Bear road house isn't far and neither is Gilligans or Chadwick's.  Anyone have a suggestion on which is the best to kill some time?

Just looking for a cool Friday afternoon place to put a few down, maybe get some wings.
