Georgetown is #31 in offensive rebounding .. it's their biggest team strength according to his charts. Not surprising to us we are #319 (out of 358) in defensive rebounding, so expect some frustrations in this regard.
Syracuse is #358 (out of #358) in term of % of 3 point shots allowed. 51.6% of shots. The good thing is that Georgtown is #218 in terms of % of shots taken that are threes. So focusing on 3's is not something that Georgetown stylistically wants to do.
Georgetown's top frosh Aminu Mohammed will be an interesting watch. 6-5 but he likes to get inside. He has taken 7.5 "Close 2's" per game which is by far the highest on Georgetown. As a comparison the highest on Syracuse is Jesse Edwards at 5.4 Close 2's. Let's see how effectively the zone neuters Mohammed who is their second best scorer.
The scary part is Kaiden Rice who shoots 9.4 threes a game at a 45% clip. He is purely a gunner however and does very little then shot. Will be interesting how we try to neutralize him.
