8 titles- Big East 4 teams. Villanova 1985, 2016, 2018. Connecticut 1999, 2004, 2011. Syracuse 2003. Louisville 2013

6 titles-SEC 3 teams. Arkansas 1993, Kentucky 1996, 1998, 2012. Florida 2006, 2007

3 titles-Big Ten 3 teams. Indiana 1987. Michigan 1989. Michigan State 2000.

2 titles PAC-12 2 teams. UCLA 1995. Arizona 1997.

2 titles- Big XII 1 team. Kansas 1988, 2008

1 title Big West- UNLV 1990
1 title Metro- Louisville 1986
1 title American- Connecticut 2014.

ACC/Big XII/SEC could add a new school to the list or Michigan State can end the Big Ten drought.

This list also shows the sport has been dominated by the ACC/SEC since it has gone to 64 teams.
As Syracuse/Louisville are now ACC teams.
Maryland is a Big Ten and UConn is in the American.

It is amazing to me that the Big Ten has won exactly 1 NC in basketball in the past 30 years.

The same number as the 5 year old American conference.

They only have two unshared titles in the past 30 years in football, also.

You missed 2015 Wisconsin for the B1G.

So the ACC or Big XII will add a new school to this list.

The Big Ten has 1 NC the last 30 years.
Pac-12 has 2 NCs the last 30 years.

It is amazing how basketball has been dominated by the ACC/Big East this century.

UConn has as many titles in the last 30 years as the P12, B12, and B1G have combined.
