Battle and Oshae looking much more comfortable. Was nice to see Marek step up and hit his shots before the zebras bailed out OSU and told Marek to take a seat. Looking for Jalen to get comfortable and be our tempo spark plug ala Dion Waiters as Frank settles back in and allows our scorers to be scorers.

Chukwu’s gotta figure it out. The motor’s there, but the basketball iq just isnt. Wonder when Sidibe makes a move for that spot. Lot of opportunity for incoming big men.

Nothing needs to be said about Hughes. He’s that good and he took care of business.

Marek's playing with a lot of confidence. Frank played really well for coming off surgery, not practicing much and being thrown into a road game.

The ref's were intent on fouling out anyone wearing orange in the entire arena. Surprised they didn't foul out the walkons and the bus driver.

Very glad to see Tyus find his range on the shot. It's been a minute, and we really needed it.

But for us to get to the next level, we need him to be looking for others in scoring situations as well. 4-5 more assists from him and I see us as an elite team.

Tyus is deadly when he drives and pulls up for that 8 foot push floater. Wish he would use it more.

His bucket as the end of the half was big for momentum. The last couple years the other team seemed to always score in that situation even though we had the ball with a chance for last shot

Battle needs to continue to attack the rim. He's quicker and stronger than the majority of guys who will be guarding him. And he did a nice job finishing around the rim, along with a few runners. Absolutely love seeing him be aggressive like that.

THIS is the Battle I expected to see this year -- after a summer spent working with skills specialists, the game refinements he made, etc.

Hit some shots, took it to the basket comfortably, didn't force, played efficiently.

If this is the Tyus we get for the majority of the year, he's going to sneak into the first round. I definitely think that the difference last night was that we didn't just hand him the ball and ask him to create when the offense overall was breaking down. Last night, there was far improved ball movement, guys were more active driving, etc.
