It's hard to believe that it's already been 30 years since I hit Enberg in the head with a beach ball while he was prepping for an on-court interview at halftime. This was back in the day when students had sideline seating (2nd row almost center for me) and beach balls were popular entertainment at halftime. I ended up with a beach ball when the halftime festivities ended. A two-handed throw caught Dick right in the forehead... probably my best throw-in ever. I apologized to him after the game but he was OK with it.
