The closest we can get is to look at the stats per 40 minutes. Right now, Battle looks to be equally as good a scorer as Dion. Dion did have the advantage of often playing a good chunk of his 'fresh' minutes against the opponent's subs, though. The stats say Dion was the better passer (double the assists), but I think Dion had better options to pass to.

Dion never had to carry a team. If he had an off night we had Krisjo, Triche, or Scoop who could pick up the slack. What Gbinije did two years ago and Battle is doing now is more impressive.

One thing about these best player lists is people gravitate toward ISO scorers. I’m not convinced that team wouldn’t have been pretty good without Dion. I actually think you can make an argument Fab was the best player on that team.
