As soon as Fran insists his assistants do what he wants them to do, he will be fine. Right how he is giving them too much latitude. Listen to his presser. He basically calls out Erob without using his name. Same thing with Nixon under-utilizing Willis. Why the hell is Willis on the sideline on 4th and 1 with the offense on the field? He basically told the reporter he needs to talk to his assistant about using Willis more. Will Nixon is not a 4th and 1 back. He's solid as a pass option out of the backfield and to run some misdirection, in my opinion. But running him between the tackles is nonproductive.
