I hate watching this defense. Even when they are succeeding, it feels like it’s by accident. All year it has felt like this. Feels like it’s purely reactive and is never dictating anything on the field. On top of that, it may be the worst tackling team I’ve watched. Probably recency bias there but it sure feels like it

Quite a few times this year we have wondered why teams threw the ball and abandoned the run when it’s worked and O’Brien clearly saw that and has stuck with it and the expected result ensued.

If Brenneman suggests they go for 2 to try to make it a 10 pt lead instead of 9 one more time I’m driving there. Someone in the booth explain math to him. What a moron.

It’s the most incredible moment of broadcasting incompetence I’ve ever witnessed. I’m blown away with how wrong he is.

Our defense is just bad. If we can't stop Boston College, on the ground or in the air with a backup QB, I mean, we need to adjust our expectations for the rest of the season. Our safeties miss guys coming out of the backfield or a leaking TE so often it's amazing. Even an average defense and we win this game easily.

The only success it has is by accident. It's an absolutely terrible scheme. Been saying it every week

Well his QB can't throw so its a little easier decision.
