in Rochester (ROCHESTER!!!) our Acc Network is on a standard definition only channel!! in 2018! 65 miles from campus!!! What an absolute embarrassment. Everyone involved should be fired and then publicly humiliated.

If you have SiriusXM then you always have the BC feed as an option. The Wake game was Matt at his worst for us driving from NJ to FL (on the TuneIn app.)

I’ll be there w the family tailgating near the mods. Earlier incarnations of this game would be having 10 beers at Maryannes and then the 1 mile walk around the reservoir. Can’t wait to see this one. I feel like it’ll be the ultimate last game rock fight.

I was at the Clemson BC game sat. nite and you couldn't be more right, it was windy and cold. and the Boston fans were staggering drunken idiots..

The tailgating scene around the stadium is very limited and boring. The best outdoor gating is near the stadium in a big field, i believe its the Baseball field. the bar scene is very scarce. if you are in Copley/back bay and/or the fenway area then you have options like Stephanies on Newberry for the best bloodies i have ever had

The OTA broadcast is HD on the local CW affiliate in ROC. I’m a chord cutter with an HD antenna and the Raycom games are in HD for me.
I bought a $24 HD antenna on Amazon a few years ago and get plenty of clear local channels because Rochester is flat as a board.
Edit - I use the HD antenna on a Roku tv and it allows for pausing & rewinding over the air broadcasts. Might be worth the investment, even if you have Spectrum, for the HD CW affiliate football and hoops games.

If you think Matt's a homer, the BC guy(an Ithaca College guy) is just as bad. Most broadcasters on the college's networks are homers. I like Matt, for the most part he calls a solid game and has a good sense of humor. Doesn't take himself or the game too seriously. Sometimes he gets ahead of himself and anticipates spots and ref calls and gets them wrong. Westwood One uses him on national NCAAB tourney games when Cuse is out and they only use the best pbp guys.
It is the absolute worst!
