Week 13 ACC/FBS Games for Nov 19-23

I do not. Don't tell Otto.
It's like when hoops side used to get penalized for playing in NY until New Year and playing cupcakes when it came to rankings

They are 9-0 and won easily

But they weren't challenged at all

And ND is going to benefit from this win in the CFP poll next week

Ohio State played an undefeated Indiana team that might have a worse schedule than Army.

I can't even explain how bizarre this is, but I'll try.

So BYU has the ball very late and can win with a TD.

BUT the BYU QB sails a slant and the defensive back picks it off, and the BYU QB gets him down at like the 3 yard line.

So ASU has the ball up 5 with like a minute left. But BYU had some timeouts, so they weren't going to be able to just kneel on the ball. So rather than try to score the TD, and just sit on the ball and make BYU go 90 yards, they have the QB run like 30 yards backwards to burn like 3 seconds more off the clock. THEN ASU gets a delay of game.

So it's 4th down and goal at like the 50 yard line with 7 seconds left, and rather than Punt, ASU has their QB sky one into the stands. But it doesn't burn the clock!

So the game looks like it's over, the stupid students rush the field, and the refs are reviewing. And BYU gets one more shot.

Anyway the game just ended, looks like BYU completed the Hail Mary but was short at the 2.
I watched the highlights after reading this, did they play the last play without goal posts at one end of the field after the students ripped them down? It looked like it.

Hope you are watching the Cal- Stanford game. 31-24 Cal and they have the ball at Stanford 8 yard line with 1 minute and 50 seconds left.I have Stanford +9-. Cal takes a knee and game over when they could of easily scored and covered.
That seems like an obvious knee. I had Stanford + 14.

That was very close to a horsecollar tackle on that Hail Mary by BYU. BYU would've had an untimed down at the 1 to win it if it indeed was one. IT definitely did look like he horsecollared him IMO.
They could have also called intentional grounding on the pass wayyy OB.

Yeah I bet it live while game had already started. Point being how many times does a team just run the clock out when they could have scored to cover?
Cal hates Stanford and could of easily put another score up, but the coach just wants the win and spread does not factor into how he coaches.

For the second time, I admitted most coaches don't care about covering the spread. On occasion, with a game out of reach, some coaches will subtly make moves that show they know what the # is. I've seen it happen several times. To repeat - the Cal game was an obvious knee.

We’ve went from often motivated to cover the spread to occasionally.

I feel like ND is now a playoff lock even with a loss at USC.
Possible because of the chaos today but losses to NIU and USC won't wear well. I think they're a legit top ten team but they really lack quality wins.
