Yep coaching matters.

Been on the fence on the issue for a while, this solidifies it. Not just X’s & O’s nor the 17 turnovers, but no animated presence on the bench toward the end of that game in regulation then overtime to get these players to “raise their Game”, “dig down deep”, or “ rise to the occasion“ or whatever other metaphor one wants to use, this to win a game they should win due to better talent alone. .

These are the type games that expose Bad coaches. And speaking of the X’s and O’s, I mean not fouling up 3 15 seconds left, or at least putting more guys at the three-point line and let them get a two pointer? I mean really, basic stuff

I will be venting on a lot of platforms so apologies in advance but the general symptoms with this team stems from a lack of cohesive plan offensively. They aren’t disciplined enough to pass back out if intial action is stopped. This team has gotten more careless with the ball as the time goes on. Defensive energy get sapped and transition messier. George and Freeman then take on too much on their back. No one has improved. I had hope in Post Freeman return world, now it’s gone.

Great effort by Kingz. Tough one for George.

Needed more from Donnie in crucial moments. There were about three plays Donnie could’ve made late in the game to put it away or get us back in it and he didn’t execute on all three. It’s always tough to criticize the star, but this wasn’t his best and he was put in position to make plays.

The coaching was dog crap.

those early leads are precious...get up by 9 and act like it doesnt matter.

GUESS WHAT? it does!!!!

that first line change substitution killed momentum on offense and energized BC...from that point on they were confident and ready to win

stretch that first lead out to 15 or 20 and SU wins in a laugher...

No comment on the players. Just let me know when Red is fired and who we’re looking at to be HC.

I was told that JB would have brought the mayhem down if we didn’t hire one of his guys.

Glad we abided by that after his decade long slide to be where we are today. Continuously sliding into oblivion after hiring Red. I guess what we were under threat of is worse than this. Or maybe not and everyone just bowed down to JB.

But at this point, it’s time to fire Red. And get new blood in that has no ties to the JB regime.
Need a fresh start with Melo and Kiyan as the bridge to the program's history.

This was a game where the players got a bit cocky, thought all they had to do was show up and the game was theirs.
This loss is so much worse than the Hofstra loss.
And that stupid challenge that cost us a timeout.

I have no words.😶
that double turnover by george at the end of regulation was pathetic

curious to see what happened on the last 7 seconds of the game - looked like George got absolutely hammered in the lane but the camera was inexpicably not on the action and didnt see a replay
