FSU still has more talent top to bottom than we do. We'd maybe start most of their 1 deep. I think the only position we're better is QB. But it's a team game.

Their kicker hasn't made a FG over 20 yards in 2 games, going 1 for 4 to date.
Their defense is giving up deep balls as badly as ours, and they are not running the ball well.
Their passing game has been short yardage; they've been missing on their deep balls.

we're talking about individual talent. While not the be-all end-all their last 5 recruiting classes have ranked: #10, #5, #2, #4 and #10. They have athletes and elephants and hippos all over field. We're debating about having patience with our starting junior WR who is a converted QB and can't catch. During that recruiting span FSU had 9-four star WRs and 2-five star WRs.

As for the kicking, that is a major surprise because Ricky Arguayo is supposed to be one of the best kickers in the country, at least based on his pedigree.
