Beer at Preseason NIT games

I was under the impression that now that the NIT is owned by the NCAA, they no longer serve beer at Pre- and Postseason NIT games. But apparently they sell it at the women's games, because the Louisville coach is buying beer for fans:

Something seems odd about that. I don't ever remember being able to get a $2 beer at any game

they definitely dont serve beer at the preseason nit games at the garden.

Maybe he's sneaking booze into the joint (I wouldnt know anything about that ).

But the bigger question is, where can I go to get these $2 beers they speak of?
