Benny has basically been the worst version of Paul Harris thus far. Like Benny is consistently what Harris was on a bad night.

The percentage from 3 last season is nice from Benny albeit on low volume. Paul was often criticized for taking too many midrange jumpers but he at least rebounded and got to the line. If Benny could do that he would actually be good

I always thought Benny should take the Hakim approach. Just raise up and dunk on everybody. He's got the vertical to do it. I don't think I remember ever seeing Hakim get blocked. He was always above the rim. Benny would be hard to guard if he just jumped with arms extended.

Williams should go up expecting to dunk more often, but calling him deficient because he can't do something only one guy in the history of the program ever did... doesn't seem fair.

Don't want my post to be misconstrued. Didn't call Benny deficient. It is wishful thinking on my part, as I would love to see Warrick 2.0 on the Hill. Go Cuse!

I'm in this boat. This could be a bunch of nothing and could be, like you said, directly related to the article. Team rules usually range from silly to serious, so who knows. I do know that being suspended from an exhibition game and being suspended from an actual game are worlds apart in severity.

Maybe it's just Red sending a message, too, which is going to be more effective on an upperclassman than an underclassman. Sacrificial lamb type stuff.

I think Jeremi was the best dunker (or most aggressive) we have had. He tried to dunk everything. That said both Hak and Jg seemed to have ups that Benny doesn't have (or hasn't shown he has yet).

I agree, Benny can jump. But, guys like Hak, Grant and Wes Johnson were really quick and powerful leapers. It seemed that they could jump just as high from a standstill as if they were running. Benny seems to jump better with a bit of a run.

I was more thinking maybe not getting something cleared? Given he spoke about relationship a little with JB?

Now granted I don't know the team policy on interviews and college sports is different than corporate America but where I work we have a 2 strike rule for speaking with anyone from the press without full prior authorization from our legal and marketing and communications head.
