Best Burgers in America

Yes, I've been to Au Cheval in Illinois and White Hut in Massachusetts. Can't see how White Hut won - just off of the top of my head, Plan B in Springfield is much better and I disagree with the CT choice as well - every burger mentioned as a runner-up has to be better than the winner (who I've never heard of).

I've been to Prohibition Pig, but never had the burger there. I don't know. The best one I've had around here is the burger at the Farmhouse Tap and Grill in Burlington.

I've been to all 50 states and don't think I've had any of the listed burgers.

Didn't make the list but I tried Umami in California on moqui 's recommendation and thought it was incredible.

I knew I should have had dinner there when I was in Burlington this summer...

Ended up at Flatbread instead.

Not a bad spot either. Good beer at both places, but Flatbread is where we go with my folks and the kid. Flatbread, with that great wood burning stove, is great for the winter. Farmhouse has a great outdoor seating area for the summertime. But they also have a pretty sweet basement area for drinks.

I'm Blarney Stone to the death of me.

Not bad at all. Best burger I've ever had was at the Spotted Pig in the city and haven't ever had anything close and don't expect to.

No I haven't, but thanks for the tip. Next time I'm in Seattle I'm heading over to Bellevue for the Juicy Lucy. TTTTB.

And btw, thanks also for reminding me to try MCC's Kobe sliders, which I'm pairing with the Kunde Zin. It's sunny and in the 50's all next week (read: BBQ) and Mrs Moo's gone for a month to SE Asia with some girlfriends. I can't stand it. :D

Damn. Mrs. VT is in Cali this weekend, so I'm all alone myself (tonight anyway). Went and played hoops, and had a fine burger with the boys at Uno's afterward and a few beers. We had a bottle of the Kunde a couple weeks ago and it was even better than I remembered. Thanks again for that recommendation. We both agreed that was one of our favorite memories from a spectacular trip.
