I see we got emails today about upping donations to lock in for upgrade or parking process.
I still think it silly we get locked in to renew seats but not the parking that goes with it.
I know that Miami did the same thing last year and changed course so that people found out after they got seats that the parking process was changing and it pissed of a ton of people
parking and seats kind of go hand in hand. If you renew seats and then find out, you lost your parking location that's a bad process.
Last year we got multiple updates on donor level status. This year none? People could be dropping a ton of spots in the process and have no clue that parking could be a problem.

I almost contacted my rep but figured I can just ask here; I want to move up in my section to the higher priced tier. If I do that now (I already renewed our tickets though) would that position me better for the upgrade process? Or do I have to wait for the upgrade process?
I know that I can't pick the actual seats until I'm alloted my slot during the upgrade process. I hope I'm making sense.

Your donor rank is locked in May 1.
If you want to upgrade, you need to make a donation BEFORE the 1st.
The higher your donor ranking is, the earlier you get to pick during the upgrade process.
If you select higher priced seats, you will be asked to pay the price difference when you checkout.

Okay that's what I was thinking. But I guess my precise question is, can I pay for the more expensive seats now without actually being assigned the seats? In other words, can I just pay the higher tiered price knowing that I'm going to upgrade anyway when my slot is available?

No. You can't pay the price difference until you actually select the new seats.

As if winning the game wasn't amazing enough, the second best part was having all of those scumbag Miami fans who spent the whole first quarter celebrating watch in horror as we kicked their faces in from that point forward.
#1 overall draft pick -- ROFLMAO. We had the better quarterback.
Going to miss Meeks, Allen, OG, and Pena. McCord had amazing talent to work with, which in no small part is why he actualized his full potential.

I still feel like it’d be better if they showed you your rank now. It in theory would encourage folks to donate. I also don’t know if mine is even accurate. It’s all based on last year so have no clue what they have in there.

Yeah unfortunately a lot of the people who put together that system are no longer with cuse and the new folks in the AD don’t understand how it should work etc.
It should be updated in real time and it used to be so that you knew exactly where you were etc.
I’m hoping that within time, this will be the case.

Parking has been on a year to year basis for quite a bit now.

and i said its silly that parking does not get renewed the same way as seating, The big difference now is that they allowed people to buy more spots as inventory has been reduced. Then add it donor levels will be jumping all over this year now that the bonus stuff they applied last year is gone, I mean having seats for 40 yrs gets you to keep your seat, but you could lose parking any year.
Last year they updated donor levels several times so that people knew where they stood in some rough fashion. We have no clue this year.

My understanding is tix renewals are down a bit...there should be some opportunities to upgrade

Not surprising. No McCord. Weak home schedule. No big names coming in to build hype. No palpable buzz on this team. No big expectations from the public. Plus ticket prices go up with one less home game to boot.

One of my top 5 games I watched for Syracuse football.
We almost turned it off after getting smacked around but held tight and where in aww of how tough this team was.
I was already bought into Fran and his culture, this came just reinforced how key it is and how strong he made it in a short time.

well perhaps if they used a real outfit to build out the website it would be easier. Using Sidearm rap sure isn't going to make it any easier on people.
