Best Defensive Team?

We are no. 3 in turnover margin, Louisville is no 1 with a much different style of defense.

Interesting that two teams that we have played and beaten are among the top 15 in the nation in 3 point field goal percentage.
Colgate is 2nd having hit 85 trifectas in just 7 games at a 47% clip.
Baylor is 15th having hit 62 trifectas in 9 games at a 42.5% clip.
By comparison we are 100th having hit 56 treys in 9 games at a 36.4% clip.
Might partially explain why we had a more difficult time with Colgate than we are accustomed to having.
We are currently 240th in 3 pt. Field Goal Pct. Defense allowing our opponents to make them at a 35.9% clip.
We are currently 171st in Field Goal Pct. Defense at 43.3%

I don't see why SU would have to be up there. This SU team is much more offensive oriented than the last couple of years.
Defensively, Ennis and Cooney are steps down from years past. BMK is off to a slow start and DC2 is a work in progress, and is out there primarily for his O and rebounding. I think the defense can and will improve. But this team does not appear to be a defensive juggernaut.
