He was fairly efficient against a SOS of #332. MAAC numbers have to be considered carefully from an efficiency perspective. So a direct comparison is difficult. This is not meant to be a pro-Kiyan or Saddiq post, as they certainly had their struggles.

A positive for Folefac is that he was OK efficiency wise against Duke and Indiana. But that is basically a sample of 2 games.

JB putting a player in the doghouse and he isn’t even a coach anymore lol. Freeman camp is probably frustrated because his market value in the portal or staying even at Syracuse will not demand as much as I think they would’ve hoped if they had the option to choose between College and the NBA. For what they are probably hoping to get based on his potential would be a risky financial investment for most programs. So he has to decide whether to take a rate based on his proven production, but likely be in a better situation program wise or go to a program with a not so good situation, but willing to take a big financial investment risk to fulfill what his camp hoped he would be worth to a better program on Donnie potential and that program hoping to strike gold.
 
If a bunch of teams have NIL's of 10 million, teams have to be looking to at least 2 players in the 2-3M range, and some can probably find a way for 3, and fill the rest of the team with "system fit" value.

I don’t think he got that last year but I think that would be the price to keep him. 6’8” Forwards averaging 16 and 7 in the ACC probably command a premium, regardless of their warts.

12 million in total, as I guess we will be between 11-13 million all in

This is how much I would spend on each position. We are getting lucky because hopefully Doty and Anthony aren't collecting big checks, which makes the SG position cheap in comparison.

Really need difference makers at PG, PF, C.

Given we might be in the 12-13 range as has been speculated I’d wanna be over that 2 million for both top spots to be getting the cream of the crop and then one more guy at about a million to 1.5 as another forward who could compete for a starting spot.

No I'm pretty sure they said we're projecting 9 million for next year.

Didn’t Boozer make most of his money through corporate deals (State Farm, etc), like Flagg did the year before? Heard Flagg was making close to $30 mil on his sneaker deal. He didn’t need the bottom feeder NIL.
 
NIL can’t be tied to performance incentives. Suggesting that as an option implies a lack of understanding of NIL. Not saying that to be a jerk.

i think you're pretty close except moesch. he'll be much higher than that. more like the portal guard number.

We will need to spend more on a couple of pieces if we want to be involved with top portal players. Kiyan, White and Doty are too high. Moesch will be closer to $250,000. I doubt you will find a portal guard and forward for $300,000.

Correct. The 2.2 was just from Duke’s boosters.
