MD with only 7 home games? Wow.
You would think with Syracuse’s history and the clear passion of the fans that we would be tops in recruiting every year. However we loose a number of high ranked players from ny and the east coast to Duke, North Carolina, ND and the ivies. Do you think it is based on academics, nil or something else?
Well are they going to college or to the beach? If you grow up on Long Island, would you rather spend 4 years in Upstate NY, or try something different and live in MD/VA/NC?
Of course with the portal, a lot of these kids go away for 1-2 years and end up transferring back up North.
I don't think it is just one thing. I believe it's a combination of academics, economics(cost), location, and now nil. As a parent who has put 2 kids through private college( youngest graduates next week), cost and quality of education really matter. Add in job networking and assorted other things it really is a complicated decision for many. You would think with Syracuse’s history and the clear passion of the fans that we would be tops in recruiting every year. I'm surprised that UVa is that close to UMD. That's why I reacted "Wow."

do they include people sitting on the grass? I don't know if "lawn seats" are free or a discounted ticket price.I'm surprised that UVa is that close to UMD. That's why I reacted "Wow."
Yes. You have to have a general admission ticket to sit on the berm at Klöckner and, I would believe, ND's Arlotta.do they include people sitting on the grass? I don't know if "lawn seats" are free or a discounted ticket price.
