Best opposing RB to visit Syracuse

since Gayle Sayers came to Archbold.
Tony Dorsett and Napolean Macallum were both pretty good when they showed up to play SU too. I'd put them in the top 3 with Sayers.

Some others off the top of my head... LaSean McCoy, Jamal Lewis, Willis McGahee.

But yeah, this guy is a superstar.

I haven't been watching for that long but he's the best I've seen since I've been a fan going back to the mid-'80s. Speed, power, elusiveness. He's the total package.

Best I've ever seen. Huge drop off for them with the backups. Without Fournette, LSU is maybe a 6 win team. He's a once in a generation player.

Can't speak to Sayers, who looked a lot like Billy Dee Williams, but I'd grant the best to visit the Dome.

This kid is the real deal. It's a shame he can't cash in on his talents right away and has to wait and risk injury. Probably the best college running back since Ricky Williams. I think he is far better than what AP was at Oklahoma

Yeah probably in Herschel walker or earl Campbell territory.

Yeah, this dude is the real deal - man among boys out there. I was upset that they put him in on the last drive, why would you risk injury to the guy before the Jets have an opportunity to pass him up on draft day?
I don't think he can come out this year can he?

Personally, I'd have to say Tony Dorsett. But Fournette was pretty good yesterday

Sayes and LF are, of course, completely different types of runners. Sayers was the best instinctive runner runner I have ever seen. LF is more of the Jim Brown type (that my friends is my of paying the ultimate complement) and the best power runner to come to the dome that I can remember.

The two PennSt guys--Harris and Mitchell--were very good, but Paterno had them share the load, so neither put up huge numbers.

While not in the same class as some of the other backs don't forget Travis Henry and Erric Rhett at Florida ...
