Ready to drive to the rim!

Kid Mamba is going to be very special right away. He will not play like a freshman. He's ready. Kid is a very physical player and very cerebral too. His defense is going to stand out too. He's a ferocious on-ball defender.

Agree. I think it is Lydon/Battle, 1A/1B. Wouldn't be surprised if it is reversed since Battle will have the ball in his hands more and potentially more responsibility. Nobody is talking about Battle. I love it. Cannot wait to see him. He's the most dynamic all-around player to arrive here since Melo, IMO. Crazy to think that White, Howard, Gillon, Chukwu, Roberson, etc., are all on this team. The national 'experts' have no idea of the blitzkrieg this team will hit opponents with.

The excitement for the upcoming season is palpable. This may be deepest and most talented team we've ever had. Watching this team emerge from "off the radar" to the top of the polls is going to be an exhilarating ride and we are going to be treated to a season to remember. I suspect having long periods during games where the team seemingly has difficulty scoring will be a thing of the past this year. Lydon and Battle will lead the way but we will be reveling in the play of Roberson, Chuckwu, Coleman, White and Gillon as well.

Game on!!!LGO

and... he won't even start on this amazing team. He will be our Waiters this year and- I agree- could end up being best player on team.

I happen to think he does start. Your scenario is certainly possible too. In your scenario, White starts at the 2, Battle comes in for Roberson. TL slides to the 4 from the 3 and AW slides to the 3 from the 2.

Very possible but I think TL comes in off the bench.

Tyler Lydon hands down. He is cut and his shot is even better.
I'm excited to see Lydon and the rest of the team. We definitely have a lot of options and a lot of guys quite capable of scoring with the ball. I can see Lydon playing second fiddle but what I don't see is Lydon not getting mega minutes. It's definitely one of the Iggy questions of who is going to average the most minutes. In my eyes, it has to be Lydon. He is just so talented.

But then again, it could be #3 or #25. Nothing will surprise me with this team this year.

Lydon played second fiddle to the seniors last year. He will not play second fiddle to anyone this year. We saw a preview of the talent he possesses last year. This year he will be the feature attraction.

Only because it wouldn't surprise me if Battle or White was the first fiddle. Trust me, I plan on wearing my #20 jersey all season long.

Best player(s): Lydon, Battle, and White will be 3-headed scoring monsters
Breakout: Pascal (Proves to be an absolute mammoth on the defensive end and actually scores 5-10 ppg off dump-off dunks and putback).

SO PUMPED FOR THIS SEASON! The 2-3 is going to be ELECTRIC

No disrespect to our Senior Tyler Roberson... but I haven't seen the following SIZE lineup thrown about much. I think it would be a sight to see...

Guards: Battle and White
Forwards: Lydon and Taurean Thompson
Center: Chukwu

6'6" - 6'7" - 6'9" - 6'10" - 7'2" !! With shooting and defensive skills, but lacking in dribble and speed.
