You know, blast me for this if you want to, but I was thinking last night...it really wouldn't bother me if we didn't win the Big East Tournament this year. That stretch of games can be so physically and emotionally exhausting, I'd almost rather lose in the second or third game and have some time to rest and prepare for the NCAA Tournament. Remember in 2005 (after 3 days of rest) when we lost to Vermont in the first round and looked like dog crap...we won the Big East Tournament that season.

Yeah it really took UConn out of the tournament last year. They really struggled.

I was there, and granted the game was played at home, but Seton Hall couldn't beat our 2nd team.!

I'm not sure OUR first team could beat our second team.

Wow...I guess as far as Syracuse goes, they don't exactly have good track record in the NCAA's after winning the Big East Tournament. I guess I just might have a valid point. Besides...it was just my opinion dude. Thanks for the snide, yet ignorant and useless response. Smart**s!!!

In 2003, we beat GT in our first game (3rd win over the Hoyas that season). Lost to UConn in semis, who then lost to Pitt in finals.
