It's illogical to have 2001 Miami as #1 and then not have 2000 Miami in your Top 5, IMO. It's virtually the same well-oiled machine of a team.

2000 Miami would have had 3 Miami teams I wanted to recognize another team. 2000 Miami was probably better than 2001 Tennessee but the Vols had a trip to NC game if they would have beaten Rohan Davey led LSU in the SEC title game.

1. 2001 Miami
2. 2000 Miami
3. 2002 Miami

4. 2013 Florida State
5. 2007 West Virginia (that team may very well win the national title if not for the most shocking Big East upset ever at home vs. Pitt)

Great teams don't lose to 4-8 Pitt. I'd put 2013 Clemson in the 5th spot. Otherwise good call with the three Miami teams. They should have won 3 BCS championships.

I just think it was a bizarre and shocking loss that probably only happens maybe once if they play 20 times. In their next game they laid the wood to Big 12 Champ Oklahoma.
