Wow, Marsh. Jints game got that boring?

Figured you would at least wait till February.

Dude I am like 8 beers deep, have no voice left from yesterday let alone todays Giants game and figured what the hell. If Joe Lunardi can project Bracketology this early, I can do this.

#8 UCONN WINNER VS. #1 SYRACUSE.

This reminds me of 2010 when we were the #1 seed and had to play and lost to 8th seeded GTown in the quarters. GTown was 10th in the country in RPI yet was the 8th seed in the BET. They ended up a 3 seed in the NCAAT. Meanwhile, Duke won the ACCT without playing a single team in the top 25 of the RPI. Why was this important? Because it allowed Duke to take the 3rd #1 seed which dropped us to the 4th #1 seed and getting shipped out West.

IIRC we had in the neighborhood of 7 top 25 RPI wins whereas Duke had 1 or 2

Good post. That was extremely frustrating. Still, you would like to think we would have defeated GTown.

I wish the fans of the #1 seed could be rewarded by having their team get to play in primetime as opposed to that Noon slot.

My starting linup for the Big East tournament. PG Brandon Reese, SG- Mookie Jones, SF-Matt Tomaszewski, PF-Albert Nassar, C-Matt Lyde-Cajuste. Visions of AO's knee injury dancing in my head.

Fortunately, there hasn't been a Syracuse team in my lifetime that is more equipped to handle an injury than this one.

DePaul is going to be busy if they are playing both sessions on Tuesday. I guess I missed that memo of a double dip.;)

I like your ambition Marsh...One with your ambition can do lots!

Ha. Thanks man. Didnt catch it. It was only Rutgers so its not like any fans of their own team would have noticed anyways.

Nah, the early game is a reward for the #1 seed. They get more time to recover before the next game.

Couldn't agree more. Hopefully, if we do get the 1 seed again this year, we fare much better than a couple of years ago and also not sustain a catastrophic type injury as well. :(
