The upside of Andy being out for an entire season with the ACL is that he redshirted, and so his senior year was 2009-2010 when he was part of one of the best Cuse teams ever. He would have been out of eligibility after 2009 if not missing the season with the injury.

Devo still had eiligibility, too, and would have been part of that great 2009-2010 team as well, but I believe JB kind of forced him and Paul Harris to turn pro. Wes Johnson was coming in as a transfer, and there were suggestions that chemistry could have been impacted if Harris was suddenly playing alot less. But it’s interesting to think how Devo would have impacted that team if he didn’t decide to leave.

That Devo injury kills me because he was playing so great when he got injured. One of the best guards in the country. He was still good after the injury but never quite as good.

Rautins on the other hand, came out if his injury better than ever.

Before that we had Rautins and Devo both that went down as well. McCullough in the lame duck year.

Yes Flynn's freshman year Rautins in the summer and Devo on an uncontested fastbreak layup in game ten. That might have been the start of a great run before those injuries. It was a good run but might have been better.
