Biases in college football officiating

I’m citing this every time someone on here defends the refs when our football team is getting hosed.

I'm citing this paper needs an editor: "UF plays in a difference conference..."

"Are there biases with major conference officials based on conference affiliations and the strengths of the teams playing?"

A study conducted at Miami University (Ohio).

I think we all know the answer to this since the Tenn hosing SU got in '98. Mysterious pass interference call and the pants not covering the kneecaps penalty.

That one graph for the ACC made me think of the FSU game this year...
