Big 10 wimps out on TV ban

I bet they won't.

The Big Ten Network literally said last week, "While some may be unaware, BTN is not and was never intended to be a news organization". I suspect they won't spend much in-game air time talking about this situation. Mostly they'll talk about the game.

Like I said to Bees, national TV likes to put good teams on the air. If these sanctions have the impact we think they will, then Penn State won't be a good team for a while and they won't get much national coverage. They'll get games on BTN because that's where 3rd-tier games are aired for that conference.

I had heard the same but they certainly reversed course today because they had wall to wall coverage of the NCAA and B1G pressers.

Said they considered it but felt NCAA sanctions were enough. Delaney fails.
Most Big Ten schools probably view the sanctions as a great thing. Now they can play one more game each year with a team that is equivalent of a MAC school.

True, but I was responding to the suggestion that PSU BTN games would be nonstop Sandusky and Paterno talk. They won't be.
