It seems to me that the best long term solution for Texas and OU is to keep the Big 12 alive (for geographic fit reasons mainly) and expanding to 12 to 14 teams and having two divisions makes a CCG also a reasonable thing to have. Boren will have gotten two of the three things he wanted. Texas wants to hang onto the LHN and the $15 million it gives them each year but it will not be renewed by ESPN IMO.
