22 points + 7 rebounds + 12 assists + 9 steals + 0 blocks - 4 missed field goals- 2 missed free throws - 1 turnover - 1 personal foul = 42 net points in 36 minutes, (which would be 56 over 48 minutes) vs. the Miami Heat.
The impressive thing is that, while they blew out to the early lead, probably because the Heat underestimated them, the Heat virtually erased that lead by halftime and took the lead in the third period but the Sixers still came back to win. That showed some guys.
I agree that MCW will be a better NBA player than a college player because he's surrounded by better players, (last year's team was possibly the worst offensive team of the Boeheim Era and MCW had to do everything by himself- that won't be true even on a bad NBA team), and because he's be guarded man to man.
But if he continues to perform like this, the double-teams will come and I still have questions about his durability over and NBA season as he's such a skinny fellow.
We will be left to wonder what he could have accomplished with an SU team that had a lot of scorers like the 2010 team.
