Why would they want all the medea at every BE event next season to be about SU, Pitt, Uconn, WVU, Lville and Rutgers going to this or that league in so many months. Becasue by next season all the football programs will be hooked up with other conferences or royally screwed.

Its a no brainer to waive it and move forward with a bball only conferecnce. Keep the BE name and hope for the best.
