i think we actually need to start taking more penalties this year. if we can't cover, start holding

Unfortunately it's the timing of them that kill us.

Agree about the holding. In college it's 15 yards not at the spot. Just start tackling the wideout if you're beat down field.

We honestly teach this, if you're smoked, do whatever you gotta do to make sure no catch is made. 15 is better than 50 everyday.

Honestly it happens in the NFL too, but mostly the other way around (offensive PI). If passes are overthrown and the dback has the step you often see the wideout just tackle them.
