for picking NC State to win. Thank you Herbi.
It's funny - with us being ranked, the narrative has suddenly shifted.
Todd Blackledge was very positive about Syracuse this morning. Watch everyone pick us to win v Wake this weekend.
and then watch us lose cause it's what we do. But it would be really nice to get some forward momentum for the ND showdown. If chalk holds the ND game is going to get HUGE publicity.
Not sure how ND's TV contract with NBC works, but if it's undefeated ND vs. 8-2 SU, is there a chance the game gets moved to primetime?and then watch us lose cause it's what we do. Yeah, I hate to hope for nice things, because we can't ever seem to have them (although being ranked is a welcome change). But if favorites win the next two weeks, we get all eyes in NYC.
As things sit right now, it's the only matchup between two ranked teams that weekend.
I think Nov 9/10 weekend will be layups for both SU and ND. This weekend is the toss up for both.

That would be pretty awesome!
I don't think they'll care. It's about as much a neutral site for them for football as MSG is for us for basketball.i was thinking this AM...how mad is ND for moving that game to a neutral site? If it's undefeated ND vs 8-2 Syracuse wouldn't they have wanted that game in South Bend? I mean they may second guess making our game the Shamrock Series event. They probably assumed we would stink.
And guess who was picked to finish dead last in the coastal? Virginia. Before the season, we were picked to finish last in the ACC.

I think the game is set at the time with Yankee Stadium. I would assume they don't have the power to move it
We're getting used to being, in the imortal words of George W. Bush, "misunderestimated".And guess who was picked to finish dead last in the coastal? Virginia.
What number Herb Street Mr Kirk?for picking NC State to win. Thank you Herbi.

Wish we could get them in the Dome again, now that we’re good. Would be so much fun to have a crack at them at home. That one would pack the Dome. That 2003 game was a lot of fun.
We'll be top 10 when they come to the Dome in 2022.
Todd should be he sat there and watched us .outplay Clemson for 59 minutes. It's funny - with us being ranked, the narrative has suddenly shifted.

trueAnd Tirico will be doing the game.
That should be interesting. He's a pro and will play it straight (with added enthusiasm).
I will confess I only had us at 5 wins...I thought linebacker/dline(thin) and wr were all serious areas of weakness and did not think oline would be “this “ much better. Plus I thought FSU was a loss. I also thought QB would take step back with receiver seemingly weak. More then happy to be wrong...seriously did not expect Custis to show like he did at the start. That was my biggest surprise. Hopefully Cuse can find the win column a few more times this season. Just glad I can finally take my son to a bowl game! Before the season, we were picked to finish last in the ACC.
Over-under on win total was 4.8 [or something along those lines].
Zero respect. Glad to see the narrative changing. Kudos to Dino and this group of players for busting their humps in the offseason, and for getting it done on the field.
