I can just hear the news:
"Athletic conference meglomaniac Jim Delaney announced today that the Big Ten will add four new members next fall: Goldman Sachs, Barclays, JP Morgan and Bank of America. The four new additions will form the 'Lenders Division.' Explaining the thinking that went into the ground breaking additions, CEO Delaney, as he now wishes to be called, said "heck we know none of them plays football, but who cares about sports anyway!? They will really help us with our developing arbitrage portfolio and we won't even have to pay a commission when we go public in early 2015!"
Is it possible to root against an entire conference??
Yuck.
