Both giant wins for our program. Gotta go with tonight’s Miami game. This solidifies and legitimizes Fran Brown. This will pay off huge in the transfer portal.

Not to take anything away from the Clemson win. Without that win we may not be in the spot we are right now.

Gotta be today. This means a lot for this program and it seems to be evidence of the continual improvement Fran and company have made all year. Also exorcised so many demons from our past. It was cleansing and flipping fun as hell

Clemson they were ranked number 1 and it's not even close. This win today against Miami is definitely 2nd tho.
I believe Clemson was 2. I’d say today was more important. Tons of recruits, national attention, new coach, Kyle McCord and we delivered with all eyes on us to cap off a successful season.

This.

We were playing for:
  • A better bowl game
  • Influence on the playoff selection
  • Redemption on national tv
  • To boost the draft resume of at least half a dozen future NFL players
  • The attention of a whole bunch of recruits, many there in person
  • To show Coach Brown that we as a community do actually care.
We did all of those things.

Clempsum was #2.

And then we proceeded to lose all the rest of our games that season.

This is bigger.

Caps off a 9 win regular season, and we will be ranked, and playing in a very good warm-weather bowl game.

Plus - there were like 440 croots in attendance to soak that all in.

I’d say this one, simply because it’s a new coach who is a proven top tier recruiter, and although we are far from great in NIL it’s vastly improved and with momentum and a 12 team playoff, almost certainly going to 16 we can make that a realistic goal. Dino just didn’t have what it took.

I always thought the 2017 win vs Clemson was great because there was nothing flukey about it. SU was the better team that day, and the scoreboard was closer than how the game actually went.

Having said that, I think today was the bigger SU win simply because of the possibilities that will come from this. Almost everything is in place for the program to take off.

One Hit Wonder? They went 10-3 the following season.
Ok, then the wheels came off the Dino bus. My point is that wasn’t the impetus to any sustained success. We will see if today was or not.

What is our biggest home football win of the 21st century?
I still think Clemson. This is a good team. Clemson was a shock. Coming back down 21 was a nice surprise, but this is a very good football team and I'm not surprised we beat Miami.

Yeah that Clemson team would beat this Miami team by double digits
