Yeah that Clemson team would beat this Miami team by double digits
Their QB was gimpy going into that game and we knocked him out - Miami had a great QB today & healthy. I do think Cristobal may not hold a candle to Dabo’s game planning and in game adjustments

What is our biggest home football win of the 21st century?
Yes, because of what it meant. Accomplished so much today.

Beat #6 team knocking them out of playoffs and ACC championship. Payback for early-mid 90’s

9 wins in Fran’s 1st year

Showdown between top 2 passing QB’s in country

Senior day …. or last game ever in Dome for some players we’ll be talking about years later

Clemson owes us one

That Clemson team was the defending national champs and the second best team in the country. They made it to the national championship and lost to Alabama. This Miami team is a paper tiger. That Clemson team beats this Miami team by 20.

Hopefully more good for the program will come from this game than that game, but its too early to say. That game was 100% the better win and it's not close.

I always thought the 2017 win vs Clemson was great because there was nothing flukey about it. SU was the better team that day, and the scoreboard was closer than how the game actually went.

Having said that, I think today was the bigger SU win simply because of the possibilities that will come from this. Almost everything is in place for the program to take off.
Kelly Bryant left in the second quarter with a concussion. Their QB got injured the following year when we took them to the wire as well. Both of those games felt weird (albeit in a good way for SU) to me

No major injuries in this game. Felt like we played a legit team at full strength and were just the better team.

I don’t think this question can be answered for years to come though. Clemson was followed by four losses, a great 2018 season, and then not much else. We’ll have to see what lies ahead after this one…

That's probably extremely rare, because not many teams get to 10 wins, and those that do, well, they don't lose much.
That's why I think it's the biggest. Beating a #1 early is great but that ranking is a bit of a projection. Means more to do it later
