Biggest question mark for the 2015 season

Yes but I'm sure he also wants to win (at least somewhat early on). I think it's feasible to believe he commits to us in March, but if we can't show upward trends on the field and only win 3-4 games, he decides this isn't for him (especially if the staff were to be fired). If he picks us, it's contingent upon us showing some improvement on the field this year so that when he (and all his friends he brings with him, fingers crossed) they can take over the world
Sure, a change in staff would be a problem, but this kid isn't worried about what we do this year. He figures he is a bell cow and will attract others (probably in the same school). Pretty smart kid. If he turns the program around sharply wearing 44 he is a legend here.

1988, 1994. Now that's a trend!

I didn't say guys who never played until their senior year.

I said guys who played better in their senior years than other years. Nunes, RJ, Nassib. Not that each played great as a senior just noticeably better than any previous year. Even Perry probably fits in.

I'd prefer to return to the guys that played well for 4 years, which covered most of the 90's. Actually I'd settle for 2 years just so we can look forward to a season knowing a great QB returns.

If Trudo can't handle the snapping (I am assuming the new offense will be run from the shotgun quite often), things change. I think this is a good possibility based on what happened last year. In that case, Emerich, Hayes or Duerig will be the center.

Good stuff as always tomcat, just wondering about this aspect of your post. From all accounts, it seems like Lester will run more of a ball control offense, which I take as QB from under center. You obviously know more then most, is that not the case? Will he still be running an uptempo spread style offense or just a ball control offense but from the shotgun set?

Would like to see what ward can do at LT because, barring some kind of miraculous improvement, Lasker isn't the guy. He would get beat like a drum out there last year. For me, the safety position is a huge question mark.
Drumroll... Marquise Blair.

Yeah. I know he is a Freshman but if he is good enough, he might play. It is unfotunate we didn't plan accordingly with Eskridge going in the draft a year early.

Let's hope Blair qualifies academically first.
It's all about that offensive line. I don't care if we have McNabb @ qb, and Jim Brown at rb. If holes aren't opened (giggidy), and protection and time for the qb aren't provided by the o line, the offense will struggle again. The same can be said for our WR's. If Lester wants to run more of those bubble screens, and quick outs to the edges, our WR's are basically an extension of the offensive line, and as bad as they were at route running, and pass catching last year, they were even worse at blocking on the edges. DB's got off their blocks like they were playing against a high school team.
