We're the banana, crazily enough. Are we the apple or the orange?

All he said was that, in his view, comparing the situations of Brady Hoke and Jim Boeheim is, "one of the most apples to oranges comparisons [he's] ever seen."
I said the same thing before, but the funny thing is this morning as I was driving to work this morning at 6:30 the guys on Fox (North and Furman) were spewing off about how bad Boeheim was, then I flipped it to ESPN and Golic was spewing off on how bad Boeheim was and then I flipped it to WFAN and Carton was spewing off on how bad Boeheim was. This was the morning after one of the best opening days ever and all three stations were talking about Boeheim instead. I think his press conference attracted some attentions.Funny how guys that have been involved with the game (the Bilas, Vitale, Calhoun, etcs) are far more understanding and forgiving of anything that has happened at SU, while the clueless media continues to spout negative ignorance at every turn.
Wow, Golic actually replied to one of the tweets about my article on Twitter. And naturally, he disagrees with my take. Shocker!
Yeah, I don't get how he can defend a coach not knowing what's happening with his players over a 4 hour span, but has no problem going after a coach not knowing everything going on with his players 24/7/365 in another sport. One is a situation that could literally become life or death (head injuries) and the other is fudging some facts on a paper.Yeah, it's interesting. He claims Hoke can't know everything about his players during a game, when they are right in front of and next to him. Yet JB is supposed to have an omniprescence within the program. Apples and oranges? How do you like those apples, Mikey?
