13. Syracuse Orange
The Orange got a bad seed as a No. 10 but a good draw playing an overseeded Dayton squad and an upset winner in No. 15 seed Middle Tennessee. The good draw continues, as Syracuse is playing an underseeded Gonzaga team. The Orange will have trouble with the Zags, but Syracuse's zone will not be easy for Gonzaga to attack successfully over 40 minutes. If Syracuse is to win, the Orange needs quality performances from Michael Gbinije, Trevor Cooney and Malachi Richardson, in addition to key rebounding and defense from Tyler Lydon and Tyler Roberson. Gonzaga has a tough inside threat in Domantas Sabonis, and Lydon, Roberson and DaJuan Coleman have to operate well defensively in the middle of the zone and on the baseline.
Prediction: Elite Eight.

Wow, Bilas picking us is big. He's basically the only one of these turds that even tries to do do basketball analysis instead of sound bites. Something is telling me this game could wind up being a classic. So many reasons that it could go either way.

Bilas did the games in the bahamas so hes seen both teams up close and personal multiple timee so that prediction carries more weight.

This game--and all of the lopsided predictions against us--feels like Indiana '13 all over again to me. Gonzaga won't be an easy game like our last two, but I have a feeling that they are going to have a much more difficult time attacking our defense than we will theirs--just like Indiana in '13.
